Good morning, fam.

On this second day of Christmas, I give you permission to feel your feels about the holidays.

Valid reasons to not participate traditionally:

• You’re estranged from your parents and/or family

• You’re not in the same place as family (job, deployment, etc.)

• The whole mess is stressful

• You feel ignored, either as the gift giver or the passed over recepient

• Trauma associated with the season, religious or otherwise

• You’re over the hypocrisy

And so many more.

You are not required to pretend you’re Cindy Lou Who.

You can choose how you (or don’t) participate.

Now is as good a time as any to give yourself permission to find a way to bring a sense of peace to your world.
